LADOKE AKINTOLA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, OGBOMOSHO (LAUTECH) MATRICULATES 9,706 STUDENTS, 2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION

LAUTECH matriculates 9,706 fresh students

Nine thousand and seven hundred and six (9,706), fresh students were this morning admitted into the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, through matriculation, presided over by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, earlier today.

The event which took place at the Institution’s The Great Hall and Amphitheater, saw all principal officers, Provosts of Colleges, Deans of Faculties and Heads of the Various Departments in attendance at the colorful ceremony, coordinated by the Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council, Dr. Kayode Ogunleye

As usual with the University, the best 100 Level student for the 2021/2022 academic session, Oyewale Stephen Oluwatobi, of Medicine and Surgery, was publicly recognized. He was admitted to LAUTECH with UTME Score of 302, and Post UTME Score of 74.2 percent. Record of his performance in the department indicated that his CGPA is 5.0 and a cumulative score of 837 out of 1000 marks.

Delivering his address at the ceremony, Professor Kalilu announced a scholarship for Oyewale, spanning the duration of his undergraduate studies in the University and urged the matriculating students to be committed to their studies to justify the investment of their parents on them.
He assured everybody at the ceremony of the University’s commitment to producing top grade manpower towards enlisting Nigeria in the race for a commendable future.
