KWARA TESCOM SHORTLISTS 9,459 APPLICANTS FOR CBT EXAM

The Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has announced that 9,459 applicants have been shortlisted for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) as part of the ongoing teachers’ recruitment process.

The CBT exam is scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The shortlisted applicants were selected from a pool of 26,349 candidates who initiated the application process.

According to TESCOM Chairman, Mallam Bello Taoheed, the selected applicants met the required criteria, including having relevant university degrees and meeting the age requirement.

Key Statistics:

  • 8,319 (87.95%) of the shortlisted applicants are from Kwara State.
  • 1,140 (12.05%) are non-indigenes.
  • 45.80% of the applicants applied to teach STEM subjects.
  • 4,709 (49.78%) of the applicants are male, while 4,750 (50.22%) are female.
  • 40 applicants are persons living with disabilities (PLWD).

CBT Exam Details:

  • Date: Saturday, February 22, 2025
  • Time: 8:30 a.m.
  • Centers: Located across various institutions in Kwara State, including Thomas Adewunmi University, Oko, and the University of Ilorin.

Applicants are required to visit the portal to choose their preferred CBT center and print their examination slip.
