ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT

2025/2026 Admission Applications Now Open For:

1. ND (National Diploma) Full-Time – Post UTME Screening & Validation of Credentials
2. HND (Higher National Diploma):

Full-Time

Weekend (Part-Time)

3. ND Part-Time (Evening Programme)
4. HND & ND Open Distance & Flexible E-Learning (ODFEL)

PART A – ND Full-Time Post-UTME Screening

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates who chose Federal Polytechnic Ilaro as their 1st choice in 2025 UTME.

Possess required O’level (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) passes in relevant subjects (maximum of 2 sittings).

Must have the correct subject combinations for the intended course.

Minimum UTME score: 150

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Apply online via: www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng

Click Application for Admission.

Pay a ₦2,000 screening fee.

Print the Application and Acknowledgement Slip.

PART B – HND Full-Time Programmes

Available in the following schools:

1. School of Communication & Information Technology
2. School of Engineering
3. School of Environmental Studies
4. School of Management Studies
5. School of Pure & Applied Sciences

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

ND certificate with minimum Lower Credit plus 1-year industrial training.

5 O’level credits (relevant subjects, max. 2 sittings).

Must have JAMB Admission Letter from ND programme.

PART C – HND Weekend Programmes (Part-Time)

Offered in the same departments as the Full-Time HND.

Same entry requirements as the Full-Time HND.

PART D – ND Part-Time (Evening Programmes)

Available in Engineering, Environmental Studies, Management Studies, Science and more.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

5 O’level credits in relevant subjects.

PART E – HND/ND Open Distance and Flexible E-Learning (ODFEL)

Designed for working-class individuals and those needing flexible study.

Learning is conducted online.

SCREENING EXERCISE:

Screening dates, venues, and schedules will be published on the polytechnic’s website.
