Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various Postgraduate degree programmes at the Kwara State University, Malete. (KWASU). Important Notice:
(i) Only courses available for the 2025/2026 Session are advertised. Candidates are therefore advised to select from the available courses in this advertisement.
Candidates are advised
(ii) to carefully go through the advertisement before commencing the application procedure (if possible, print out the advertisement as the University will not be liable for any mistake made arising from a wrong application).
All candidates must satisfy the University’s requirement for matriculation.
Minimum period allowed for a Full-Time Master’s degree is three (3) semesters and a maximum of six (6) semesters. For the M.Phil. degree, the minimum period is two (2) semesters and a maximum of four (4) semesters. For the Ph.D. Programme, the duration is Six (6) semesters and a maximum of Ten (10) semesters. The duration of the Postgraduate Diploma Degree (PGD) is a minimum of 2 semesters and a maximum of 4 semesters.
For the Part-Time Master’s degree Programme, the duration is Six (6) semesters with a maximum of 8 (semesters), while for the Ph.D., the duration is a minimum of Eight (8) Semesters and a maximum of 12 semesters.
(iv) Some programmes might have a duration different from the general one as (iv) above.
(v) Applicants are to note that all Postgraduate Academic Programmes will be by a combination of coursework and research.
