UNILORIN TO CONDUCT POST-UTME FOR UNDERAGED CANDIDATES

The University of Ilorin has announced that the Post-UTME screening for underaged candidates (those who scored 320 and above) will take place on Thursday, August 28th, at the University’s main campus.

This serves as a reminder that the Post-UTME screening for regular candidates will begin as scheduled on September 1st.

The Director of the CBT Centre, University of Ilorin, Prof. Rauf Kamilu, has assured all aspirants that UNILORIN is fully set for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening.

Speaking last Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Prof. Kamilu explained that the screening exercise will kick off on Thursday, August 28 with underage candidates, while the regular candidates will follow from Monday, September 1, 2025.

According to him, everything needed for a smooth exercise has been put in place — from dedicated staff to uninterrupted power supply and well-tested equipment. In his words, “We are fully ready for the Post-UTME with the support of the Vice Chancellor. All our arrangements are intact to avoid any form of disruption.”

He also reminded candidates that compliance with UNILORIN’s rules is very important. This includes coming early, obeying instructions from invigilators, and dressing decently in line with the University’s dress code. Malpractice, misconduct, or indecent dressing will not be tolerated.

Thousands of candidates from across the country are expected to sit for this screening exercise, and the university has assured everyone of a seamless process.
