ASUU KWASU Congress met on Monday 13th October, 2025 and made the following resolutions:
1. That the Government proposal of 25% increment over our current salaries is not acceptable
2. That the Congress unanimously agreed to proceed on a-two week warning strike starting from Monday 13th October, 2025, in line with the directive of the National body of our Union
3. That all academic activities be suspended for the next two weeks
4. That Strike Prosecuting Committee (SPC) members be well constituted
5. That our local issues be given priority immediately after the National issues are addressed.
6. That the Union should interact with all relevant stakeholders (parents, students, public, press etc) in the educational system on the reasons behind the strike action
7. That further directives must be taken from the Chairperson of the branch alone.
