The Management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Benin City, has announced the opening of its newly designed payment portal for all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session. This includes 100-level students and newly admitted 200-level Direct Entry candidates.
The University emphasized that only the approved UNIBEN payment portal must be used for all school charge transactions. The institution also reassured students, parents, guardians, and stakeholders that there has been no increase in school charges, as the University continues to maintain the same fee structure adopted in previous academic sessions
Approved Procedure for Payment of School Charges
New students are required to follow the steps below:
Visit the official portal: portal.uniben.edu and click on Login Menu.
- Log in using your User ID (Student ID) and Password.
- To pay school charges, click on PAYMENT Menu, then select SCHOOL CHARGES under Payment Type.
- Click on the PROCESS PAYMENT button.
- Follow the REMITA instructions to complete the transaction.
