The University Management wishes to welcome fresh and returning students (both undergraduate and postgraduate) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session which will begin from Monday, 5th January, 2026.
Consequently, all is set for the commencement of the academic session as registration will commence on Monday, 5th January, 2026 while lectures will begin on Monday, 12th January, 2026 as approved in the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This is to also inform that as the registration portal has already been opened, the accommodation portal will be be opened on Monday, 5th January, 2026 for students to click for bed spaces.
Importantly, the University Management requests students who applied for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFund) to go ahead and make payment in order to meet the registration deadline, as they will be refunded when the university receives NELFund disbursements.
This is to further inform that the screening of fresh students will still be on as the registration and lectures continue.
