The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has released the official programme of events for its 33rd Convocation Ceremony.
The convocation activities are scheduled to hold between Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 31, 2026, featuring a series of religious services, academic engagements, and ceremonial events.
The convocation activities will commence on Friday, January 23, 2026, with a Jumat Service scheduled to take place at the University Mosque by 1:00 p.m. This will be followed by an Interdenominational Service on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the Chapel of Grace, FUNAAB, starting at 10:00 a.m.
On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a Press Conference will be held at the Red Chamber by 10:00 a.m., the convocation lecture and commissioning of projects are scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2026. The Commissioning of Projects will take place at various project sites by 10:00 a.m., while the Convocation Lecture will be delivered later in the day at the Red Chamber by 3:00 p.m.
The ceremony will culminate on Saturday, January 31, 2026, with the Convocation Ceremony, scheduled to hold at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building by 10:00 a.m.
The 33rd Convocation Ceremony of the University will witness the award of degrees and diplomas to graduating students, as well as the celebration of academic achievements and institutional growth.
