This is to inform all Fresh Students of the 2025/2026 Academic Session that the 14th Matriculation Ceremony has been scheduled as follows:
- Date: Friday, January 30, 2026
- Time: 4:00 pm
- Venue: University Auditorium, College of Health Sciences (COHS) Campus, Lokoja
Consequently, all new students who have not paid their school charges and completed their registration are advised to do so on or before Sunday, January 25, 2026, to avoid automatic withdrawal of the admission.
Matriculation gowns will be available from Wednesday, January 28, 2026, through your Departmental Administrative Officers. The matriculation gowns will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that the gowns must be handled with care and returned in good condition on or before 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026. Defaulters will be surcharged a fee of ₦5,000 for late submission.
The following rules are to be strictly observed:
- All matriculating students are required to be present at the COHS ICT car park by 1:30 p.m., from where they will proceed to the venue by 2:30 p.m.
- No student is allowed to join the procession once it starts.
- No matriculating student would be allowed in or out of the hall from 3:30 p.m.
- Only matriculating students wearing gowns would be allowed into the Matriculation Hall.
