The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of the sale of application documents for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) admissions.
JAMB stated that UTME candidates will be registered before Direct Entry candidates, noting that the registration exercises will be conducted on separate dates.
The Board further disclosed that the sale of UTME application documents, including profile creation, will commence ahead of the actual registration process.

Sale of UTME Application Documents (Profile Creation):
-Monday, 19 January – Wednesday, 26 February 2026
-Close of Mock Examination Selection: Sunday, 16 February 2026
-Actual UTME Registration Period:
Monday, 26 January – Saturday, 28 February 2026 (At all approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide)
-Sale of Direct Entry (DE) Application Documents and E-PIN Vending: Commences Monday, 2 March 2026
The Board advised prospective candidates to strictly adhere to the outlined timelines and ensure that all registrations are carried out only at approved CBT centres to avoid errors and invalid entries.
JAMB reiterated its commitment to conducting a seamless and transparent admission process and urged candidates to rely solely on official communication channels for accurate information.
