I am pleased to inform you that the Coordinating Honourable Minister of Health and Social Welfare has approved the release of results of the Professional Examination in Midwifery – March 2025.
- Summary of the results indicated that Ten thousand, nine hundred and forty-eight (10,948) candidates were successful representing 85% overall average pass rate. The breakdown of the results are as follows:
a) Post Basic Midwifery: Four thousand, two hundred and fifty (4,250) candidates were successful, representing 95% pass.
b) i. Basic Midwifery: Five thousand, four hundred and thirty-two (5,432) candidates were successful, representing 78% pass.
ii. Basic Midwifery (Refresher): Thirteen (13) candidates were successful,
representing 72% pass.
c) Community Midwifery: One thousand, two hundred and fifty-three (1,253) candidates were successful, representing 84% pass. - Heads of the nursing training institutions are hereby directed to check the results of their institution(s) on-line as from Monday 17″ March, 2025.
- Successful candidates are to visit the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Portal (portal.nmen.gov.ng) to apply on-line for registration and licensing.
- Please note that on-line registration formalities including payment of registration fee are to be completed within ninety (90) days. Late registration attracts a penalty fee of sixteen thousand, two hundred and fifty Naira (N16,250.00) per applicant after ninety (90) days.
Additionally, a penalty fee of six thousand, five hundred and sixty-two Naira (N6,562.00) only will be charged per year in default of first licensing.
