The management of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has officially announced a new date for the matriculation ceremony of all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the updated schedule, the matriculation exercise will now hold on Tuesday, 16th December, 2025. This event marks the formal admission of all fresh undergraduates into the university community.
All matriculating students are expected to be seated at the venue ahead of time, properly dressed in their academic gowns. The university emphasized the importance of this ceremony as it signifies the beginning of the students’ academic journey at OAU.
