The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced the timetable for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation course, confirming April 22, 2026, as the commencement date for the nationwide exercise.

This was disclosed in an internal circular issued by the NYSC Directorate Headquarters, indicating that the orientation programme will be conducted across all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
According to the schedule, registration of prospective corps members (PCMs) will take place from Wednesday, April 22 to Friday, April 24, 2026, with a strict cut-off deadline at midnight on April 24. The swearing-in ceremony is also slated for the same day, Friday, April 24, marking the formal induction of corps members into national service.
Prospective corps members are advised to monitor official communication channels and prepare all required documentation ahead of camp reporting.
