JUPEB RELEASES 2026 EXAMINATION TIMETABLE

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) has officially released the timetable for the 2026 JUPEB examinations scheduled to hold between August 3 and August 14, 2026.

According to the timetable, the examination will be conducted in two phases comprising the Multiple Choice Objective (MCQ)/Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Practical sessions in the first week, followed by Essay and Practical examinations in the second week.

The first phase of the examination will commence on Monday, August 3, 2026, with a briefing session for candidates before the commencement of subject-based papers. Subjects slated for the CBT and MCQ sessions include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Government, Economics, Literature, CRS, Accounting, Geography, French, Yoruba, Igbo, Business Studies, and several others.

Practical examinations for subjects such as Physics and French are scheduled for Friday, August 7, 2026.

The second phase, which covers essay and practical papers, will begin on Monday, August 10, 2026, and run through Friday, August 14, 2026. Candidates are expected to sit for essay papers in core subjects across Science, Arts, and Social Science disciplines, alongside practical sessions in Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Music, and Visual Arts.
