The National Youth Service Corps has introduced a new section known as the NERD feature on the individual dashboards of prospective corps members.
According to information gathered, the newly added section is expected to play a significant role during camp documentation and registration processes for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I orientation exercise.
Reports further indicate that the status on the NERD section may initially appear as “Pending” before changing to “Successful” after proper verification by NYSC officials at the orientation camp.
Prospective corps members have also been advised to scan the barcode attached to the NERD section to confirm ownership and ensure that their details correspond correctly before reporting to camp.
The latest development comes amid ongoing preparations for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I orientation course scheduled to commence nationwide in June.
