The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has assured candidates experiencing discrepancies between their corrected National Identification Number (NIN) details and their JAMB profiles that the issue is being addressed.

The assurance came in response to a candidate who appealed to JAMB for assistance after correcting their NIN details but noticed that the old information was still reflecting on their JAMB profile.
The candidate explained that the mismatch could affect their plans to proceed with an HND application after completing their National Diploma (ND), and appealed to the new JAMB management to resolve the issue before it creates further complications.
Responding to the complaint, the JAMB Registrar said:
The response indicates that JAMB is currently working to address the issue and synchronise the affected records.
Candidates experiencing similar discrepancies are therefore advised to remain patient while JAMB works on the system.
