The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) is set to announce the commencement date and other key dates for the 2026/2027 academic session ahead of the release of the university’s official academic calendar.
The official date for the university’s 41st Convocation Ceremony, scheduled to hold in October 2026, is also expected to be announced soon.
Meanwhile, internal preparations for the 2026/2027 academic session are already in progress. Once the necessary approvals are obtained from the Senate at the upcoming Senate meeting, the university’s portal is expected to be migrated to the 2026/2027 academic session.
Following the migration, undergraduate students who have successfully progressed to the next level are expected to have their academic levels updated on the portal, alongside other processes that typically follow the commencement of a new academic session.
The key dates are expected to be announced within the coming days.
