The University Senate as it’s emergency meeting held on Tuesday, 13th June, 2023 considered the interim report of the Special Committee set up to investigate and Imawaje/Students Francas and approved the re-opening of the University effective Thursday, 15th June, 2023.
It is also reviewed the University calendar and approved the extension of Teaching Practice for 400 level students by one month.
Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students would take place on Wednesday, 21st June, 2023, while first semester examinations for 100 – 300 level students will commence 1st week of July, 2023. Meanwhile E-test continues on Monday, 19th June, 2023.
While welcoming students back to Campus, the University wishes to state emphatically that its zero tolerance for cultism is still fully operational.
Students are hereby warned to steer clear of all forms of violence as any student found contravening any University rules and regulations would be summarily dealt with. They are enjoined to maintain cordial relationship with Host Community.
