It would be recalled that Senate, at its meeting of Wednesday, 7 February, 2024, approved the amended calendar for 2023/2024 academic session.
For the avoidance of doubt and in line with the approval, I write to confirm that the 2023/2024 Rain Semester will commence on Monday, 15 April, 2024.
The University Community is, therefore, reminded that the University resumes for 2023/2024 Rain Semester on MONDAY, 15TH APRIL, 2024; AND LECTURES COMMENCE IMMEDIATELY.
All stakeholders, including students, are invited to note the resumption date as a matter of duty.
