The official visit to faculties continued on Monday, July 22, 2024, as the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, and the management team visited the Faculties of Basic Medical Sciences and Pure and Applied Sciences.
His first stop was at the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, where the Dean, Professor M.S. Ajao warmly welcomed the entourage of the Vice-Chancellor and enumerated the achievements of the Faculty and the area for improvements.
It was a similarly warm reception at the Pure and Applied Sciences Faculty, where Professor Mohammed Abubakar Sidiq welcomed the team to the Faculty.
In the Vice-Chancellor’s address, he appreciated the staff for the support his team has enjoyed over time.
He described the visit to the Basic Medical Sciences as a 2 in 1 visit, given the spliting of the Faculty to create the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences which was approved at the last Senate sitting of the institution.
Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh enjoined all staff to continue to support his administration, pledging to sustain his open-door leadership style.
