All Matriculating Students are hereby informed that the MATRICULATION CEREMONY for the 2022/2023 Academic Session and the 10th Commencement Lecture of the University will be held at the Professor Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building on Wednesday, 24th May, 2023.
- All Matriculants are required by regulation to wear academic gowns. Academic Gowns and Caps can be obtained from the Colleges from Monday, 22nd May, 2023. The gowns and caps are to be returned not later than Monday, 29th May, 2023 by 12 noon. Failure to return the gowns/caps at the appropriate time will attract a fine of N500.00 per day. Any loss of gown/cap will attract a replacement fee of N25,000.00.
- Matriculants are required to present and submit a photocopy of evidence of payment of school fees for the 2022/2023 Academic Session at the College Office before collecting academic gowns/caps.
- The Matriculation Ceremony and Commencement Lecture will start promptly at 10.00 a.m. and all entrances to the venue will be blocked as soon as the Vice-Chancellor’s Procession has taken off. Matriculants should, therefore, be on their seats 9.30 a.m.
- Matriculation is not complete without signing the Matriculation Oath on line and failure to do so means that the affected person is not a bonafide student of FUNAAB.
