Ahead of 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME Registration exercise, The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board, JAMB has warned candidates against engaging in multiple registrations. This warning was contained in a statement signed by the Director of Test Administration Department, Mrs Ville Pius, and made available to via the board’s bulletin.
In her words, multiple registrations are not allowed in the 2024 UTME exercise, and candidates who register more than once will be identified, disqualified, and prosecuted.
Furthermore, the director explained that in the event of any error during the registration process, candidates are to approach the board for necessary corrections rather than obtaining fresh application document as they would be deemed to have engaged in multiple registrations which could invalidate their applications.
The statement, therefore, urged candidates to read and understand the various guidelines on the registration as well as the set of instructions related to the board’s advertisement on the registration process.
Meanwhile, prospective candidates are also reminded that upon the completion of registration, they would be reminded to sign an MOU on compliance with ethical standards guiding their applications.
The director also advised candidates against divulging their security details such as registration number, passwords, email addresses, and e-Pin to third parties.
