KWASU ANNOUNCES MOVEMENT AND ARRANGEMENT FOR ILESHA-BARUBA, OSI CAMPUSES

This is to inform the University Community that the Osi and llesha Baruba Campuses will commence academic activities in the 2024/2025 academic session.

Towards this end, the National Universities Commission (NUC) has conducted resource visits to the programmes of the Faculty of Environmental
Sciences that will house the:

1. Fine and Applied Arts,

2. Urban and Regional Planning,

3. Geography and Remote Sensing, and

4. Estate Management.

Academic activities have commenced for the existing programme of Fine and Applied Arts. Staff and students of the Department have relocated to the Osi campus, while those of the other four new programmes will also move to the Osi Campus once the results of the resource visits are received.

The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Binta Sulyman, who is also the Head of Campus, is overseeing the smooth take off of the campus.

While arrangement to the Ilesha Baruba Campus has also been completed, movement to the campus will be a bit delayed to allow for the successful Re-accreditation of programmes of the Faculty of Agriculture in Malete Campus. The Faculty will officially move to lesha-Baruba in the Second Semester of 2024/2025 Academic Session.
Professor Friday Apata, Dean of Agriculture, who has also been appointed as the Head of Campus at Ilesha-Baruba, is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the seamless movement of staff and students to the llesha Baruba Campus:
