Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various Postgraduate degree programmes at the Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU)
Important Notice
(i) Only courses available for the 2024/2025 Session are advertised. Candidates are therefore, advised to select from the available courses in this advertisement.
(ii) Candidates are advised to carefully go through the advertisement before commencing the application procedure (if possible, print out the advertisement as the university will not be liable for any mistake made arising from a wrong application).
(iii) All candidates must satisfy the University’s requirement for matriculation.
(iv) The minimum period allowed for Full-Time Master’s degree is three (3) semesters and a
maximum of six (6) semesters. For the M.Phil. degree, the minimum period is two (2) semesters and a maximum of four (4) semesters. For the Ph.D. Programme, the duration is six (6) semesters and a maximum of ten (10) semesters.
For the Part-Time Master’s degree programme, the duration is six (6) semesters with a maximum of eight (8) semesters, while for the Ph.D. the duration is a minimum of eight (8) semesters.
(v) Some programmes might have a duration different from the general one stated in (iv)
above.
(vi) Applicants are to note that all Postgraduate Academic Programmes will be by a combination of coursework and research.
