The Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the programme of events for its 28th Convocation Ceremony, scheduled to hold from April 3 to 10, 2025.
According to a statement signed by the Registrar, Emmanuel Fanu, the ceremony will feature a series of events, including a convocation press conference, convocation sports competition, special Jumat and thanksgiving services, coconut breaking and cultural festival, convocation lecture, and the award of diplomas, degrees, and honorary doctorate degrees.
The statement also outlined important instructions for graduands, including payment for convocation packages, return of academic gowns, and collection of certificates.
Graduands are expected to pay for the convocation package online and return their academic gowns immediately after the ceremony to avoid penalties. Certificates will be available for collection after the convocation ceremony, subject to the return of academic gowns.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, congratulated all graduands, parents, guardians, stakeholders, and the university community on the occasion of the 28th Convocation Ceremony.
The ceremony promises to be a memorable event, marking an important milestone in the academic journey of LASU graduands.
