NYSC COMMENCES 2023 BATCH ‘C’ ORIENTATION EXERCISE, EXEMPTS ZAMFARA STATE

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Yusha’u Ahmed, has disclosed that the 2023 Batch ‘C’ NYSC orientation exercise, which begins today, will take place in all states except Zamfara.

Ahmed made this known during the TVC Breakfast Show on Wednesday, October 1.

He said, “The orientation exercise will be carried out in all the orientation camps except one, which is in Zamfara State. We have looked at the situation and decided to exclude Zamfara State, but in all other states, the orientation exercise will take place.

“That does not mean that there will be no Corp member serving in Zamfara State. Those that will be serving in Zamfara State have been dislodged; some of them will do their orientation in the neighboring states, Kebbi and Sokoto State.”

The NYSC DG further advised prospective Corp members to embark on their trips early and ensure to board vehicles from approved motor parks.

He said, “Once it is 6 o’clock in the evening, they should please break their journey there, find a place to sleepover, and continue the journey the next day.

“Leave home early, start your journey early, and ensure that you board vehicles at the approved motor parks.”
