President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has granted provisional licenses for Lens University Ilemona and ten other new private universities in Nigeria. The approvals were given at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held on Monday, 3rd March, 2025. Below is the full list of the universities granted provisional licenses and their locations.
