CONFIRMATION OF THE PAYMENT OF THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY MILLION, TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FOUR THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED AND FORTY NAIRA ONLY (N140,254,500) FROM NELFUND TO PAY THE SUNDRY FEES OF ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND EIGHT (1,508) STUDENTS
I am pleased to inform you that the University management has received a total sum of N140,254,500 from NELFUND for the second batch. As you may recall, on November 13th, we communicated that N165 million was received for 1,774 beneficiaries in the first batch. I am now delighted to announce that N140,254,500 has been received for 1,508 beneficiaries in the second batch, and the e-wallets of the beneficiaries on the school portal have been credited accordingly.
If you applied for NELFUND and were not part of the first batch, please check your e-wallet on the university portal to see if you are part of the second batch. For those who recently applied, I urge you to exercise patience as we continue to work with NELFUND headquarters to expedite the payment of the next batch.
I strongly encourage other indigent students in need of financial assistance to take advantage of the NELFUND initiative. This initiative is available 24/7 and is designed to support all students, regardless of their background or status. To benefit from this opportunity, kindly visit the NELFUND portal today at https://portal.nelf.gov.ng and complete your registration.
The University management, under the leadership of our esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Abayomi Fasina, is committed to ensuring that quality education remains accessible to all.
We urge you to take full advantage of this opportunity to navigate through this period and fund your education.
Thank you.
