The attention of Osun State University Management has been drawn to a “fake Memorandum” in circulation on social media, announcing the postponement of the scheduled Matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session till 31st January, 2025
We wish to categorically confirm that the said Memorandum is fake as it does not emanate from the University Management.
We also wish to inform members of the public that official communications on Matriculation
and associated academic matters are issued by the Registrar and Secretary to Senate. The Vice-
Chancellor of Osun State University at no time issues such official correspondence.
For the avoidance of doubt, all freshly admitted students of Osun State University for the 2024/2025 academic session should note that the Matriculation _ ceremony will hold on Friday 20th December, 2024, at 10.00 a.m. across Campuses.
We, therefore, request all concerned students, their parents and guardians, members of the
University community as well as members of the public to disregard the said Memorandum as it is fake, unauthorized, and misleading.
