UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA [UNIABUJA] ISSUES IMPORTANT NOTICE ON FIRST SEMESTER RESULT (DETAILS)

My dear University Community,
It is most disheartening that most of the first semester results have either not been released to the students or not even been uploaded by the courses instructors of record!

It is on record that Faculty of Vetinirary Medicine is the only faculty in the entire University that followed up with determination and ensured that SBC approved all its undergraduate results, got them uploaded and released to students.

This great feat by Vet Faculty is deserving of a medal and I commend the Dean, the Vet HoDs and all the staff.

Vet Medicine is our hero faculty in the 2021-2022 first semester!
As you all know, University of Abuja publishes a reminder calendar which makes it mandatory for results to be released to students within a few weeks of examination.

The University overlooked this and the Deans and HoDs and the lecturers concerned perhaps have even forgotten that students have not seen the grades of 2021-2022 first senester examinations even while they are now extremely close to the second semester exams.

Every HoD and every Dean now have up to Wednesday next week to get all lecturers who have not uploaded results to do so and for Faculty Board that has not met to approve remaining results to do so.

The SBC would meet next week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as its final meetings for the approval of 2021-2022 grades.

All names of lecturers still holding results and the names of departments and faculty would be published. Necessary action would be taken on lecturers and HoDs concerned no matter who is involved.

Dragging the name of the University into the mud by refusing to release students grades this long would never again be tolerated!

I appeal to Deans and HoDs to get to action without delay. Nothing can explain away this drastic failure to our dear students from conscientious teachers. Nothing!
