The University of Lagos (UNILAG) invites eligible candidates to participate in the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into all courses/programs for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
This announcement provides information regarding eligibility, registration procedures, screening dates, and other important guidelines. Please review the following details carefully:
Eligible Candidates:
- Candidates who selected the University of Lagos as their first choice in the 2023/2024 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for the screening exercise. Additionally, candidates must have five (5) credit passes in relevant O/level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in one sitting.
- Only candidates who have uploaded their O/Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) by or before August 13, 2023, will be considered for admission.
- Candidates who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by October 31, 2023, are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME Screening will not be considered for admission.
- Former students of the University whose admissions were withdrawn due to poor academic performance or absence status may re-apply, provided that the new admission is for a different program/course.
- Any student previously expelled from the University is not eligible for fresh admission.
- Screening Fee: ₦2,000
Registration Procedure:
- Eligible candidates should visit the University of Lagos website at www.unilag.edu.ng and follow these steps:
- Click on “Admissions“
- Select “Post-UTME Application”
- Login using UTME number as username and surname in lowercase as password
- Generate and print payment advice
- Proceed to a commercial bank to make payment or pay online
- Return to the University portal to complete the screening form
- Print the Post-UTME Examination Pass
- Post-UTME Test (Online):
- The Post-UTME online aptitude test will be conducted from Monday, July 31 to Friday, August 4, 2023.

- Important Notice:
- The University maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward drug abuse. Any newly admitted student who tests positive for drug use during the University’s test, whether before or after registration, will have their admission withdrawn.
