The West African Examinations Council, as a world-class examining body, embarks on
various continuous excellent customer service delivery through consolidation of technology driven innovations that are in line with world best practices
Amongst these innovations is the Computer Based WASSCE (CB-WASSCE), which was deployed for the conduct of WASSCE (PC1) 2024 and WASSCE (PCI) 2024
with remarkable success as evidenced in improved candidates’ performance and reduced exarination malpractice.
In consolidating these gains, WAEC is now set to conduct CB-WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025.
To this end, the Council hereby welcomes interested schools that wish to be part of this landmark innovation – to indicate their willingness and preparedness to
participate in CB-WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025, your declaration of interest should reach us on or before January 7, 2025, in order to facilitate adequate arrangements.
It should be noted that schools will be selected for CB-WASSCE on the basis of first come, first served, and the adequacy of facilities available.
All other schools not selected for CB-WASSCE will take the pen and pencil examination.
