UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN POSTPONES POST-UTME SCREENING FOR UNDERAGE CANDIDATES

The management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has announced the postponement of the 2026 Post-UTME screening exercise for underage candidates, which was previously scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

The development was communicated to affected candidates through an official email from the university’s Admissions Office, notifying them that the screening exercise would no longer take place as earlier planned.

According to the notice, “Please be informed that the Post-UTME screening exercise for the underage candidates earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 16 June 2026, has been postponed.”

The institution further assured candidates that a new date for the screening exercise will be announced in due course, urging them to await further official communication.

The postponement is believed to be connected to concerns over a scheduling conflict between the screening exercise and the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), which many eligible candidates are currently writing.

Candidates are advised to continue monitoring official communication from the university regarding the rescheduled date and other admission-related information.
