Ekiti State University 2023/2024 UTME and Direct Entry Admission Screening

Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, is set to conduct the 2023/2024 Post-UTME screening exercise for UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates. The screening will commence from Monday, September 4th, 2023. It’s important to note that this will be a non-examination screening process. In addition, EKSU will consider UTME candidates who scored 140 and above in the 2023 UTME, even if they did not initially select EKSU. These candidates must be willing to change their first choice of institution to EKSU on their JAMB CAPS. The University’s minimum UTME scores for Nursing, Law, and Medicine (MBBS) are 220, 240, and 250, respectively. However, candidates with lower scores in these courses can still apply for the screening into other programs of their preference and adjust their choice on JAMB CAPS accordingly.

Instructions for Candidates:

A. Payment Procedure for EKSU Post UTME Screening:

1. Visit www.eksu.edu.ng.

2. Click on ‘PAY FOR PUTME.’

3. Choose your mode of entry (UTME or DIRECT ENTRY).

4. Provide your JAMB Registration Number and the course you’re applying for.

5. Fill in your name, phone number, and valid e-mail address.

6. Confirm your e-mail address.

7. Complete the reCAPTCHA verification.

8. Click “Submit.”

9. Select your preferred payment method (CARD or Bank Branch).

10. Ensure to copy/print the generated RRR number.

B. Application Process:

1. Go back to www.eksu.edu.ng and click on “APPLY FOR PUTME.”

2. Sign up and provide accurate details, including an active e-mail address and phone number.

3. After signing up, use your JAMB registration number as the ‘username’ and your phone number as the ‘password’ to log in.

4. Choose the 2023/2024 PUTME application.

5. Input your JAMB Registration Number (UTME) and other required information will populate.

6. For those who didn’t choose EKSU initially, fill in all details accurately.

7. Enter the RRR number obtained from payment (A.1-10) for payment verification.

8. Upload a recent 1″ x 1″ passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format.

9. Upload your O’Level results (WAEC/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB).

10. Review, confirm, submit, and print the completed screening form.EKSU will consider candidates with a minimum of five credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB relevant subjects in not more than two sittings. Direct Entry candidates should submit their transcripts to admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng before October 31, 2023.

It is vital to adhere to these instructions, as failure to participate in the screening exercise will result in disqualification. Additionally, any false information provided will lead to automatic disqualification.
