The 7 days declared to mourn the death of the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Professor Abdulganiyu Ambali OON, is for the KWASU community to conduct themselves in ways that reflect the sombre mood occasioned by this loss.
Both academic and administrative duties are to continue, with staff and students conducting themselves in a sombre manner. Events lined up for the week are to continue but without any fanfare.
The Kwara State University, Malete flags everywhere will be flown at half mast for the duration of the mourning period.
The KWASU community is urged to use the period to pray for the repose of the soul of our late Chairman of Council.
