The Senate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, at its 565th regular meeting, has officially approved the academic calendar for the 2026/2027 session.
According to the approved schedule, registration for the first semester will commence on Monday, January 4, 2027, and last for two weeks. Lectures are set to begin on Monday, January 11, 2027.
The calendar further outlines that the first semester final examinations will hold from Monday, April 26, to Saturday, May 15, 2027. The second semester is scheduled to begin with lectures on Monday, May 31, 2027.
Students are advised to take note of these dates and ensure they complete their registration and other academic requirements within the stipulated periods.
