The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced the commencement of applications for its 2026/2027 Inter-University Transfer exercise, inviting eligible students from other Nigerian universities to apply for admission into the institution.
According to a memo issued by the University’s Senate and Admissions Unit, the application portal will open on Monday, July 13, 2026. Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦50,000, inclusive of REMITA charges.
To be eligible, applicants must be registered students of a recognised university in Nigeria and must have gained admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). They are also required to possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 on a 5.00 scale for Agricultural programmes, or 3.50 on a 5.00 scale for Engineering and Science programmes as of the second semester of the current academic session.
In addition, applicants must ensure that their official academic transcripts are forwarded directly to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, as part of the admission requirements.
Prospective candidates are advised to visit the FUNAAB Admissions Portal to carefully read the application guidelines, access the Inter-University Transfer application using their JAMB Registration Number as contained on their JAMB Admission Letter, complete the online application form, print it, and submit the completed form to the University’s Senate and Admissions Unit.
The University urged all interested applicants to ensure they satisfy the prescribed admission requirements before submitting their applications.
