The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) has commenced registration for its 2026/2027 Supplementary Post-UTME Screening Exercise, giving eligible candidates another opportunity to seek admission into the university.
The supplementary exercise is open to candidates who missed the initial Post-UTME screening held from July 21–25, 2026, as well as candidates who wish to change their institution of choice to FUPRE and participate in the admission process.
Registration will close on Sunday, August 23, 2026, while the supplementary screening exercise will hold on Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Eligible candidates must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME, selected FUPRE as their first choice or completed a Change of Institution to FUPRE, and possess at least five relevant O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings. Candidates must also be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.
The screening fee is ₦2,000, and applications are to be completed through the university’s admission portal.
Candidates who participated in the initial screening exercise are not required to participate in the supplementary exercise.
