The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has announced the closure of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Registration Portal for UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
The registration deadline, which was earlier extended to July 31, 2026, has now been further extended to Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Eligible candidates who made FUTA their First Choice Institution and are yet to complete their screening registration are advised to do so before the deadline. UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2026 UTME, while eligible Direct Entry candidates can also participate in the screening exercise.
Candidates are reminded that they must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026 to be considered for admission.
FUTA also directed all candidates to ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS on or before Thursday, August 13, 2026. Failure to upload the required results may render a candidate ineligible for admission.
Candidates who are yet to complete their registration are strongly advised to use the remaining time and complete the process before the portal closes.
