The Federal University of Technology Akure Students’ union (FUTASU) President Comr. Asoore Jesunifemi TENTEN has been suspended indefinitely, in accordance to FUTASU Constitution in Article VI Section XXIV Sub-Section XII till her next Business Sitting.
The Vice president Comr. Sulaimon Tunrayo Ganiyat shall act as the Acting FUTASU President pending the suspension of the FUTASU president
The FUTASU President was suspended based on several petitions levelled against him from organisations and individuals, the suspension became imperative due to the following charges:
- Misuse of Power
- Defamation of Character
- Misinformation of student populace
- Stigmatization of Personalities
- Threatening of Student
The suspended President (Asoore Jesunifemi Tenten) shall submit all unions’ properties i.e Union ID CARD, Key to offices and Documents in his possession to the Acting President Through The Supervision of the property and management committee with immediate effect
