The Management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin has announced the postponement of the 2026/2027 Students’ Union Government (SUG) and National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS) elections.
According to an official notice signed by the Director, Directorate of Student Services (DSS), Engr. Uthman, Fawziyyah, the elections have been placed ON HOLD until further notice.
The postponement follows complaints and observations received by the Management and the Directorate concerning the recently concluded screening exercise.
The elections were originally scheduled to hold on Saturday, 19th September 2026.
Management stated that information regarding the rescheduling of the elections will be communicated in due course.
Students are advised to remain calm and await further directives.
