The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has activated its portal for the conversion of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) applications to Direct Entry (DE), providing eligible candidates with the opportunity to switch their mode of admission.

The development is expected to benefit candidates who have since obtained qualifications eligible for Direct Entry admission and wish to pursue admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions through the DE admission process rather than UTME.
Eligible applicants can now commence the conversion process through JAMB’s designated channels, subject to the Board’s guidelines and requirements. Candidates are advised to ensure they possess the requisite qualifications before initiating the application.
Prospective applicants are encouraged to complete the conversion process only through accredited JAMB Professional Registration Centres (PRCs) or other approved channels to avoid errors and fraudulent activities.
