JAMB POSTPONES RELEASE OF 2026 UTME RESULTS

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued an official apology to candidates over the delay in releasing the results of those who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday, April 17.

In a statement signed by Fabian Benjamin, the Board acknowledged that the delay affected the second batch of results, which had earlier been scheduled for release.

The statement explained that the delay was due to the unavailability of the Board’s Chief Executive, who was engaged in an important official assignment. However, it assured candidates that the situation had been resolved, as the Chief Executive is now back in office and the results would be released later in the day, before nightfall.

The Board reiterated its commitment to transparency and timely dissemination of examination results, noting that efforts are ongoing to ensure a smooth and credible process throughout the 2026 UTME exercise.
