JAMB WITHHELD 2026 UTME RESULTS OF UNDERAGE CANDIDATES

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has received numerous inquiries from parents and stakeholders concerning candidates whose results are currently displaying “No Result Yet.”

The Board wishes to clarify that results for underage candidates have not been released at this time. Consequently, when such candidates attempt to check their results, the system will return the message “No Result Yet.”

According to existing regulations, only candidates who will be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2026 are eligible to register for and sit the UTME. However, provision exists for exceptionally gifted underage candidates, who may be considered if they demonstrate outstanding academic ability.

To qualify under this exceptional category, candidates must Score 320 and above in the UTME; and Attain at least 80% in subsequent screening stages.

In line with prior agreements endorsed by parents of underage candidates, only those who meet the 320 score threshold will be shortlisted and invited to proceed to the next phase of screening. Candidates who successfully pass this stage may then be considered for admission under the Exceptional Candidates Provision.

For now, results of underage candidates remain withheld pending the outcome of this process.
