The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is yet to activate its portal for change of institution and course, as candidates await the next phase of the 2026 admission process.
The change of institution/course window, a critical component of the admission cycle, allows candidates to adjust their initial choices based on their UTME performance and institutional requirements. However, the Board has not officially activated the portal, fueling anticipation among candidates seeking to make adjustments.
JAMB has already fixed May 11, 2026, for its policy meeting, after which the portal is expected to be activated in line with established procedures.
Candidates are therefore advised to remain patient and avoid unofficial platforms or misinformation, as the Board is expected to make a formal announcement once the portal becomes available.
