The Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed, has been reinstated to office following the approval of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Recall that the public announcement of his suspension was made on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. After spending over four months away from office, the Rector has now been directed to resume his duties at the institution.
The reinstatement comes after the state government concluded its review of the matter and subsequently cleared him to return to office.
Members of the Polytechnic community, stakeholders, and well-wishers have welcomed the development, expressing optimism that the institution will continue to witness growth and progress under his leadership.
