The Management of Kwara State Polytechnic has banned all final-year sign-out activities on and off campus. The decision was taken to ensure the safety of students, maintain peace and order, and prevent any form of misconduct or disruption associated with sign-out celebrations.
The Management stated that no student or group of students is permitted to organize or participate in any sign-out procession, road walk, public gathering, spraying of substances, or any related celebration in the name of sign-out, whether within the Polytechnic or outside the campus. Students who violate this directive may be subjected to disciplinary action in accordance with the institution’s rules and regulations.
All final-year students are therefore advised to comply with this directive and celebrate the completion of their academic programme responsibly. The Management also called on parents, guardians, and student leaders to support the enforcement of the ban in the interest of safety, discipline, and the good image of the institution.
