The Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has officially announced a change in the resumption date for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session, alongside a new directive on hostel allocation for students residing on campus.

In a statement issued by the institution’s Registry, the management disclosed that the previously scheduled resumption date of Monday, April 20, 2026, has been postponed by one week. Students are now expected to resume academic activities on Monday, April 27, 2026.

According to the notice, all academic engagements for the semester will commence immediately upon resumption. Students have therefore been advised to take note of the adjustment and make adequate preparations to return to campus in line with the revised schedule.

In addition to the change in resumption date, the Polytechnic introduced an update regarding hostel accommodation. Students living within the campus are required to check the institution’s portal at least two days before the new resumption date for updated hostel allocations. Management emphasized that the portal will contain all necessary details, and students are expected to comply strictly with the assigned accommodations.

The statement, signed by Deputy Registrar (Information Division), Halimat Garba, on behalf of the Acting Registrar, reassured students of the institution’s readiness to receive them. It further expressed optimism for a smooth and productive academic session.
