Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Undergraduate Pre-Admission Screening Exercise for candidates seeking admission through UTME and Direct Entry.
According to the admission notice released by the institution, online registration for the screening exercise will commence on Thursday, June 11, 2026, and close on Friday, July 10, 2026.
The screening exercise is open to:
- Candidates who selected KWASU as their first-choice institution during 2026 UTME registration.
- Candidates willing to change their institution of first choice to KWASU through the JAMB portal before completing the screening registration.
KWASU 2026/2027 Screening Fee
Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.
Admission Requirements
KWASU stated that admission consideration will be based on:
UTME or Direct Entry score – 70%
Five relevant O’Level credits – 30%
Candidates must possess at least five credit passes in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings. However, applicants seeking admission into the MBBS programme must present their O’Level results in one sitting.
Candidates awaiting O’Level results are also eligible to apply, provided their results are uploaded and made available before the conclusion of the admission process.

- Visit the KWASU admission portal.
- Click on “Post-UTME Registration.”
- Verify their details using their JAMB Registration Number.
- Complete the online application form.
- Pay the screening fee online.
- Print the completed registration form and payment receipt for reference.
- Registration Deadline
- The university has fixed Friday, July 10, 2026, as the deadline for the online registration exercise. Interested candidates are advised to complete their applications before the closing date to avoid last-minute challenges.
